Call for Grant Applications for 2008

The Brockville and Area Community Foundation is inviting local charities in Leeds and Grenville to apply for financial grants to support their work.
Applications are welcomed from registered charities in all sectors: arts and culture, heritage preservation, education, environment, social services, youth initiatives, and more. Grants generally range from $1000 to $4000 each, and a total of $50,000 is available this year.
The Foundation awards financial grants for projects that strengthen the community - projects that can show that they will have a positive benefit on the people of this region.
Applicants are asked to review the granting criteria on the Foundation’s website. Applicants can download the Grant Application Form (DOC) / (PDF).
Completed grant applications are due by Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 12:00 noon.
The Brockville and Area Community Foundation supports charitable activity in Leeds and Grenville by accepting donations and building a permanent endowment fund. The investment income earned on the fund is granted to local organizations that enhance and strengthen the quality of life in the community.
