First and most important, call us! We want to talk to you about
your project, and we can help identify ways to strengthen your
application, or we can advise if it meets our criteria. We can
also clarify application procedures and deadlines.
Once you have discussed your project with us, complete the Letter
of Intent form and submit it by the deadline. The Letter
of Intent is meant to provide our volunteer reviewers with
a brief overview of the initiative, rather than a detailed description.
The Letters of Intent will
be reviewed by the Grants Committee, and some initiatives will
be selected and asked to provide a more detailed application. Grants
will be awarded after reviewing the full applications.
Grant proposals for the Winter 2008 Call for Grant Applications must be received no later than Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at noon. Postmarks will not be accepted, as the files are distributed the same day as the deadline.
