BCF still plans to make grants in fall 2009

2008 was a fiscally challenging year for everyone, and the Brockville Community Foundation is no different. Despite poor financial returns on the Foundation’s endowed funds, the board of directors is still making plans to make financial grants in 2009.

"We have decided to wait until the fall,” says board chair, John Fischl, “we have to work through our financial picture and see what makes the most sense, so we need time to do that."

It is anticipated that more information will be available by early summer, and once details are confirmed, they will be posted on the Foundation’s website.
